Work with us
St John of God Hauora Trust is a leading provider of disability, youth and social services in Aotearoa, New Zealand. We are a Catholic not-for-profit organisation that prides itself on providing distinctive care based on our Mission to continue the healing Mission of Jesus. All caregivers are equally valued as key participants in our Mission. The Caregivers who come together each day share a collective commitment to our values of manaakitanga (hospitality), aroha (compassion), whakaute (respect), tika (justice) and hiranga (excellence). St John of God Hauora Trust respects and observes its canonical and civil obligations by providing regular formation, education, and training to all caregivers.
Our aim is to facilitate a culture that is grounded in accountability, subsidiarity, and where innovation is encouraged. We commit to respecting the dignity of each person and foster an environment where we keep each other safe. Our services aim to enhance hauora for mana whenua in our shared commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We employ and are privileged to work with people from a range of cultures, beliefs, abilities, genders and sexual identities.
Our people are known as caregivers, recognising each person's contribution to excellence in care. We are dedicated to enhancing the professional and personal lives of our caregivers by providing a working environment that is innovative, creative and nurturing.
