Welcome to St John of God Wellington

Situated in the midst of New Zealand’s beautiful capital city, St John of God Wellington offers residential and respite support for adults living with physical impairments between the ages of 18 and 65.

St John of God Wellington is owned and operated by the not for profit St John of God Hauora Trust, which is a division of St John of God Health Care, one of the largest health care providers in Australasia.

In Christchurch, St John of God Hauora Trust operates St John of God Halswell, which offers residential and respite support for adults with physical and/or neurological impairments between the ages of 16 and 65; and St John of God Waipuna, a specialist youth agency which manages a range of innovative programmes which provide young people, their families and the community with support and opportunities for development.

Volunteering with us

Our stories cannot happen without you!

Halswell RosieVolunteers are much valued members of our team and contribute greatly to the care we are able to provide residents. Volunteer work is done of one’s own free will, unpaid and for the common good.  Volunteers provide a link with the community and the personal contact and assistance that would not otherwise be possible.
